Over the next few days, we are going to be inundated with trailers and announcements from the San Diego Comic Con. What was once a small nerd expo has since become the single most important platform for every major film studio.

Months, or even years before they come out, movie franchises are made or broken depending on theĀ reception of Hall H in San Diego’s convention centre.

And of course, the undisputed kings of Comic-Con are Marvel Studios. Ever since they released that Iron Man teaser there back in 2007, they’ve been killing it year after year, with big announcements and crowd-pleasing stunts.

This teaser poster for their upcoming Paul Rudd movieĀ Ant-Man is just their opening salvo for 2014.

As disappointed as we are that Edgar Wright will no longer be directing this movie, we’ve rarely been disappointed by a Marvel movie. Plus, we can’t remember the last time we didn’t like a Paul Rudd movie.

Keep your eyes peeled for more announcements from the 2014 SDCC!
