Though he’s barely finished making X-Men: Days of Future Past, that hasn’t stopped director Bryan Singer from teasing the sequel on his Instagram account.

As long-time comic book fans will know, this upcoming sequel will find the X-Men battling En Sabah Nur, aka Apocalypse. He’s an old, old mutant who’s supposed to be over 10,000 years old, which explains why the opening scene takes place on the banks of the Nile in Ancient Egypt.

The Four Horsemen mentioned near the bottom of the image are his henchmen: four literal guys on horses that Apocalypse has named Pestilence, War, Famine and Death.

While there’s no script in place, it’s already been confirmed that Channing Tatum will be playing Gambit, a fan-favourite character.

X-Men Apocalypse is scheduled for summer 2016
