The third series of BBC’s Sherlock is due to premiere at some point before January, if reports are to be believed (our guess is that it will be announced in the Radio Times holiday issue).
Never one to keep his fans un-teased, creator Stephen Moffatt released this tantilising image from the upcoming season:
It’s been a long time since Sherlock Holmes jumped off that roof – it’s time to reveal the truth about what happened between him and the pavement.
Well, unless the show is headed into Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) territory, we’ll assume he didn’t die.
But as this picture suggests, Dr Watson isn’t in a good way. Haunted by the apparent loss of his friend, he’s finding comfort in late night pizza and coffee: shorthand for ‘hitting rock bottom’.
